Maybe it's for the best, clearly she wasn't truly interested in pursuing a long-lasting relationship with you if she was willing to break up over something so stupid. I've been with my fiancé for going on three years now, and I love Twilight and he thinks it's the most idiotic thing on the planet. Would we ever break up over it? No. In fact, one of the things that attracted us to each other was how opposite we are. We respect each other's opinions whether we agree with them or not. I'm really not seeing the reason for OP having more "you deserved it" votes than "I agree, your life sucks" votes. They're only books (and not great ones, at that). Life doesn't revolve around a book series.
