FML" sorry you all, but i can't really see the big difference in getting matching tattoos and getting married. if you believe in the one and only love for once and ever, do either. if you don't, treat your important people with respect and dignity, hope for the best, and remain on good terms if it ends. but don't give me that shit about "oh, you shouldn't get such a tattoo, everyone knows that relationships don't last" while at the same time making such a glorious hype thing about marriage and true love.

Well, way back when, mostly sailors would get tattoos. These days many young people get tattoos. It does seem as if most relationships don't last very long. I got married in 1974, so we have been married for about 36 years. I still love the same woman that I married in 1974. I hope that you young people get into committed relationships that last a lifetime. I and my wife are Christians and we don't have tattoos. We try to keep Christ at the center of our relationship.

Whether love is permanent or not is one thing, however YDI because getting a "love tattoo" is a guaranteed sure fire way to end a relationship. Okay maybe that's not a YDI but seriously, dumb move. I hope your next girl is worth your time

That sucks, not only did you lose a girlfriend, more importantly you lost a tattoo artist. It took years before I found a tattoo artist I'd let touch me. Best of luck finding a new artist, you'll find a better one, who won't **** your girlfriend, you may even find a girl artist to be your girlfriend.
