Well make sure the detention was warranted. I've gotten punished for PDA just because I was hugging my best friend. Some schools will even give detention for hand holding. If she actually did cheat on you, and she was stupid enough to do it in public, then I think you should move on. Just make sure it wasn't a misunderstanding first.

You must have reading comprehension issues. Getting detention for PDA doesn't necessarily mean she was cheating. Many schools are strict about any kind of touching, so she could have hugged a friend and BOOM, got detention.

I got a detention for that once, I gave my male friend a hug. If her school is strict like mine was, then it doesn't necessarily mean she was cheating.

Don't break up with your girlfriend over that. Just do the affection off of school property that way they.can't say anything about you hugging her or kissing her.

I don't think you get it, if she got detention for public display of affection while he is at a different school, she wasn't being affectionate with him. She is cheating on him, and the school caught her and he found out. He should ditch her because she is cheating while at her school and him at his.
