Today, my girlfriend of 2 months found out she was 4 months pregnant with her ex's baby. She told me I could leave her and she wouldn't blame me, but I decided to stay with her. She told me she loved me and then dumped me because she needed to be with her baby's daddy. FML

Today, my girlfriend of 3 weeks found out she was 2 months pregnant with her ex's baby. I of course broke up with her because I don’t need exes drama or babies in my life. My mother called me an atrocious human being for not staying with her after only three weeks to raise another dude's kid. FML

Today, three weeks after my girlfriend told me she was pregnant, she admitted it was a lie. Turned out it was just a test to see if I'd break up with her or not. I didn't, but I did just break the bank buying all the things we'd need for an actual kid. FML

Today, I woke up to my girlfriend sobbing so I went over to comfort her. She didn't want to talk about it, but was inconsolable. I called her best friend to help out, as maybe it's easier for her to talk to a woman instead. I found out from her friend that my partner's ex got his new girlfriend pregnant. That's why. FML

Why would you be willing to stay with her, which would eventually include taking care of her kid after just 2 months? That smacks of desperation. Wouldn't go so far as to say YDI but it is the best thing for all involved for her to try to make it work with her ex.

OP, I have to ask; what in the hell did you think was worth salvaging with this girl? I can understand if you'd been with her for years and decided to take on a child that wasn't yours, but two months?! Get the **** out while you can; there's a difference between being noble and becoming a martyr for no good reason.
