Today, my girlfriend of 2 months found out she was 4 months pregnant with her ex's baby. She told me I could leave her and she wouldn't blame me, but I decided to stay with her. She told me she loved me and then dumped me because she needed to be with her baby's daddy. FML

Today, my girlfriend of 3 weeks found out she was 2 months pregnant with her ex's baby. I of course broke up with her because I don’t need exes drama or babies in my life. My mother called me an atrocious human being for not staying with her after only three weeks to raise another dude's kid. FML

Today, three weeks after my girlfriend told me she was pregnant, she admitted it was a lie. Turned out it was just a test to see if I'd break up with her or not. I didn't, but I did just break the bank buying all the things we'd need for an actual kid. FML

You're a wonderful guy for wanting to be a father to that baby by raising him/her, even though it wasn't yours. Since she went back to the babydaddy, consider yourself lucky and move on. When he dumps her, she'll come crawling back to you, but don't fall for it. (There will be tons of drama and you'll end up hurt yet again when she goes back to him later on.) You deserve a woman who will treat you with respect, who will realize how wonderful you are, and who is worthy of your trust and love; she's not that woman. Find someone better.

This whole situation is pretty ******, really. And she didn't handle it at all well - I suspect she was hoping you'd choose to leave her so she wouldn't have to go through the process of dumping you herself - so I'm sorry about that. But honestly, after 2 months you were willing to take on a baby that wasn't yours? I'm sure you meant well but that decision was most likely never going to work out. It's probably better for all involved that she tries to make it work with the baby's father. It does suck for you, especially the way you got dumped, but it isn't like you two had been together for years. Now you can find somebody else.

That sucks. Kudos to you though for stepping up and wanting to be with her and take responsibility for a child that wouldn't have been yours. Sadly, there's not a lot of guys out there like that.

You're a good man for sticking with her, but she was obviously already going to get back with the ex for the baby. She offered you the "easy way out" just so she could blame you, and say that you dumped her over it. She wanted to go back to the ex with the baby, and be "the victim", but you foiled that plan by being nice; so, Plan B, dump your ass. All the best, cause you deserve someone better than that.
