Ouch!! My EX almost did that to me, but she saw how much he really didn't care about her. So she quit talking to him, but she's still my ex for another reason. It may jus be a phase dude. Stay as her friend, so if it isn't her dad will see that he can approve of you.

Her piece of shit 'father' wants to have his daughter in his life, now that all the hard work of raising her is done with. That happened to my friend (a guy) after his dad left him when his mom was preggo. Dad later married and had 4 daughters and wanted a son. So he tried to slither into his now adult son's life. To "reconnect and do father and son stuff." Luckily my friend told his "dad" to go to Hell.
