Why did you have your phone on
Are you the teacher or the parent in this situation? I think it makes a huge difference as to whether this is hilarious or inappropriate.
Teach you to have your ringer on at work huh.
That was shitty of her. At least it wasn't "I Love Little Girls" by Oingo Boingo. That would have been far worse. I hope your reputation and job came out in one piece though!
There is a difference between a good and harmless joke from a bad one that can cost you a lot in life. You should definitely have a good talk with her and hope she understands. If not, I suggest reconsidering your future with her because who knows what else she might have up her sleeve.
Agreed, also people seem to people overly concerned they had their phone on. They have it on for emergencies who cares why it wasn't on vibrate? This growing trend of pranks or jokes that could injure someone, get them arrested or cause them to lose their job is frightening and the much bigger issue.

Well that sounds very immature and that may cost you your job... I'd have a serious chat with her.
well. seems like your girlfriend has no ******* clue how bad this makes you look. seriously, how did she not know the implications of this?
