Happend the other way around to me, this guy thinking we were together. Don't know which is worse... Life lesson learned: always ask someone to be your boyfriend/girlfriend and don't just assume you are in a relationship. Communication is quite important, as it seems.

Things like this are a lot more common with the way people 'date' these days. There is a lot less commitment and relationships and a lot more FWB and casual dating.
