Today, my girlfriend who lives in China contacted me and told me she'd been harassed by a guy and was thinking about pressing charges. The guy is someone I know from college - he promised me he would say "hi" to her for me while he was in Shanghai. FML

thats what you get for dating a commie

i bet he probably harassed you too while you were rape-drugged, should get urself check

if he said "hi" than its prob cool though, and you didn't tell him not to harass her, you just told him to say "hi"

op made no indication that she works for the government. btw, there are fewer regulations in Chinese industries than on american ones. America is officially as socialist as china, at least regarding business. that's a good thing, though. no lead in your toys and toothpaste.

I seriously don't get it. Do people take it offensively if you say "hi"?
