You know what, you can respect the struggles and the type of life a person has had but you don't have to like them. If she doesn't like her son or you because of regret then sorry but even family at that point do not need to be considered anymore. I'm sire your dad is a cool ass human being and you are too, living life as a better person and not having the same regrets as your grandmother will just make you better. Nuff said I think.

To be fair, and no offense meant to religions, mankind as a whole is the results of "accidents". If your parents love you, the date of your conception might be accidental, but you are certainly not . Let's hope your gran's nasty remark is just accidental. If not, tell her how hurtful it is. Age is no valid excuse for meaness.
