Today, my hamster went missing. I walked down the stairs into my basement, to find my hamster's head on the stairs, and its body in my cat's mouth. FML

Okay, so I'm the 1 who wrote this FML, and i would just like to inform everyone that 1.) yes, i do own a dog..3 actually, so i can complete the food chain. 2.) this is not fake...my cat decapatates animals and leaves the body parts laying around outside, 3.) I have more hamsters :) and 4.) The hamster that was killed was previously being attacked by my other hamsters, so i had to seperate him from the rest and put him in a bucket until we got a new cage. so he was in the bathroom, in a bucket with the door closed. then some dumb ass kid opened the door and took out the hamster and it got away.

Hey it's not the cats' fault. It's like if you owned a lion and a gazelle and then were all surprised when the lion attacked and ate the gazelle.

@wrestler12345 I think you mean "extinct". I'm a proud member if the Snickerdoodle army ^_^

what in the name of the samurai pizza cats are you talking about?!

lol omg u just did a gremmer natsi fail haha lmao your stoopid Seriously though. Extinct means that there are no more of that species alive. Instinct would be what the cat is 'programmed' to do ie. catch mice and hamsters etc. Snickerdoodles would be ashamed of you.

I had a bunch of hamsters years ago. My mom had to return some when she caught them eating their babies. I'm sorry, OP.

Uh, that's really weird. Returning them, I mean - it's not like the individual hamster is defective or messed up, it means that the environment they are in is stressful! I HATE people who "return" animals, because it usually is just a symptom of stupid owners who don't understand that their pets aren't machines. BTW, people, stop getting animals and breeding them for fun.

i guess you learned a valuable lesson here...cats and hamsters don't mix as pets...

That wasn't exactly a winning combination, was it? YDI.
