Today, my husband and I sat our 10-year-old daughter down for a chat over her recent cursing. When my husband asked where she'd heard the words, she "innocently" replied, "from mommy's other boyfriend." He took her seriously, accused me of cheating, and hasn't been home since. FML

Well do you have another boyfriend? I think that's the question that needs answering here :{P cuz you never said if you did or didn't

she is 10 not 2 there is reason to believe. My brother is 10 and he knows what that would be a 10 year old is not dumb. That is almost the age to be ready for middle school. She isnt a toddler anymore and I dont blame him if he wanted to believe her.

By the way how do ya all know the child is lying? hehe take her word for it?

So who's this 'other boyfriend' OP?

If her parents get divorced, she's probably not going to hear about how it isn't her fault...since it probably is.

Whether or not OP is cheating, the real problem is that her spouse wasn't willing to stay and have a conversation about it. Their daughter is taking advantage of the lack of trust and communication in her parents' relationship.

No words. Ground her till she's of age.
