Today, my husband and I were pulled over by a cop. He was still angry from our earlier argument over his constant freeloading, and when the cop told him we'd been doing 75 in a 55, he retorted, "Yeah? I did 75 in your mom last night, fuzzball." One more ticket I have to pay for. FML

Did you inform he police officer that he was unable to pay the ticket and would be better off spending a few days in lock up instead? And if they could put him to work stamping out some license plates, so he could finally be a productive member of society, that would help too. I'm sure the officer would be happy to help you out.

Technically, in a lot of relationships, the woman, assuming that she is a housewife in my example, is "freeloading"off the husband. Funny to see the comments on an FML like this

sorry but you have an immature husband. he needs to grow up. let him pay for it so he can think before he does something like that again. tickets are not cheap. or send him to jail a couple of days so he learns his lesson. to respect authority at least and not take his anger at other people.
