Today, my husband and I were talking about names for our expectant child. I told him since I named our daughter he could name our son. He's decided on a name from 'God of War'. My son is going to be named after a make-believe cartoon character - Kratos. FML

Kratos! Hell yeah, awesome name. What's wrong with you? People name their kids after names from Christian mythology all the time, what's wrong with Greek mythology? Also, mythological god =/= "make believe cartoon character."

First of all, any geek that knows the origin of the name will probably think it's cool. If they don't, the name sounds original anyway....regardless, if this is all you have to complain about then your life is not ******.

come on, that's freakin awesome! God of War is definitely worth naming a kid after. and if you're not a video game nerd like those of us who are, just accept the fact that the name Kratos just sounds cool.

Give him a normal enough middle name so if your son wants, he has a name to fall back on. (Like Kratos Edward... he can go by Ed if Kratos doesn't fit his personality)
