Your child is expecting?
Okay, first of all, Kratos (or Cratos if you want it to look a little better) is the Greek word for strength, a perfectly fine name for a boy. Admittedly a bit odd, but definitely badass. Believe me, when that kid is older, everyone is going to know him as, "the kid with the really badass name." I know I would think that. Second of all, "make-believe cartoon character"? Yes, he's a video game character, but I'm going to give you a YDI just on basis of gaming ignorance. This is like when people think Mario is on the Playstation or that Halo invented FPS.
thats amazing lol
I must say, that is why my husband and I didn't make this deal considering I pretty much picked our daughters name ( he liked it so it wasn't a problem). If i left it up to him, Im pretty sure that his name would be sonic.

best name ever!!!!!
I find it really troubling that adults still feel this need to be edgy and reflect their own interests in the names of their children. It points to an immature sense of what is tasteful and what is absolutely not. I am all for non-traditional names, but not ones that are inspired by a damn video game or TV show or movie or whatever. If her husband had chosen based on the fact that it was a Greek god, then maybe it would be less irritating and immature, but because it originated from a video game.. it's just selfish and lacking in foresight, maturity, and respect for your son.

i dont get the "i name one kid, you name the other" mentality. why dont you just work together to find a name you both like?
"Make-believe cartoon character"?! Whoa whoa whoa, you've gone too far, there. Besides, it's a totally cool name, you must admit.
