well. the maid cant pay because we give her 15$ PER month. and we cant deduct it because... IN rural places of Nepal , where my servant comes from, one family consists of 9/10 sons or daughters .. so that 15$ directly goes to her HUGE family.

totally true
I don't see why people are making such a big deal over the fact that the OP has a maid. I have two friends that have cleaning ladies that come to their houses once a week to clean up. They're both working women with families. And they're very active--the kids play sports and participate in lots of things which keeps the families busy, therefore, they needed some extra help keeping the house tidy. And they're not rich or anything, but they don't struggle. For both of those families, a ruined PS3 would've been quite a bit of money down the drain. Oh, and yes, FYL OP. That must've really sucked.
If your family has enough money for a maid they have enough for a new ps3... but seriously thats one stupid maid... however you OP dont seem smart either. Besides Wii's are wayy better. YDI for this one
better make the bitch pay up
I think that if you have enough money to have a maid and a PS3 you shouldn't be complaining.

You only give her $15 a month? Wow. What an asshole
Check the location, they're in Nepal. I expect that might be something resembling a decent wage out there...
