Unfortunately you can choose your friend but you can't choose your parents. But if you want to made your mother happy, you can go to church with her sometimes, having a math quitz ready to thing about during the ceremony so you don't get too bored.

Being a good Catholic in the Philippines is secondary to other things in many families...you should know that by now hahaha. Salamat po!
