I don't think the school would allow that. If it's a real problem then talk to the principal about it or the headmaster

My friend and I were held back in elementary school because we weren't ready. I'm not sure they can just hold you back in middle/high school if you have all passing grades. I knew people who failed in middle school and obviously they had to be held back. I doubt the school would allow that. That's a really stupid request and it wouldn't help you in the long run.

Yeah, my mom threatened to hold me back in 8th grade because I had a C in math. The school wouldn't allow it. You'll be okay, just don't fail anything.

She can't do that, the school has to make the decision there are criteria for it so she can't force them to hold you back
