Exactly. Bring the thumbs down, I don't care, but IMO, if OP is that sensitive, maybe OP can find another place to live? OP doesn't say anything so don't assume OP's mom is a deadbeat stoner. OP's mom could just as well be consuming legal cannabis which is known to help certain illnesses ranging from PSDT to nausea from cancer meds. We don't know the details so don't judge.

#17, although you make a fair point, if I was nauseous, I would certainly not smoke weed! It's known for causing nausea.

I understand if it may be for some kind of condition cause then it's necessary and medical, but if it isn't, I don't think you should be subjecting anyone else to your smoking by doing it inside. I'm an avid smoker of pot myself, but the smell is potent, some people don't like it, and it's unfiltered with the smoke being quite harsh on the lungs, it's the same with cigarettes, it has it's drawbacks to people getting it secondhand. You're the one smoking, you're the one choosing to do the activity, you should be the one accommodating if other people don't want it around, at the very least be near an open window. Also, we don't know the age of the OP, maybe they can't just get out and find another place to live.

How is that FYL? It wasn't your room so you can stay in your room and not deal with the smell , she didn't smoke in front of you. I guess its **** your cat's life for taking the blame.

was it your pot? otherwise I can't see how this is a fml unless you're the mom who was high AF when trying to come up with an answer, the sis who's room now stinks, or the cat who's been blamed for it lol

I hate the smell of pot, and I hate potheads who won't own up to it. If your mom is chill enough with her habit to do it in her own home, she should be chill enough to admit what she's doing you and show it's normal. If you're ashamed of admitting something you're doing in your kids room, you probably shouldn't be doing it.

I can't stand the smell of weed. From the beginning of my freshman year of college to the end of my sophomore year I had to smell weed every day because I got stuck with a neighbor who smoked it daily. It's a disgusting smell and smoke the damn thing outside if you have to smoke it at all. Sorry you have to deal with that and hopefully your mom apologizes and does it somewhere else.
