If I were you, I would find out who she sold the dog to and do my best to get it back. Considering she sold it off for bills, I'm guessing it was an expensive pedigree dog you had.

I'm so sorry!! That's horrible. :( I have seen some pretty hard times, but I would never think to sell my dogs. They are family. I've had to eat plain rice to pay for their medical treatment at times or given them food from the food pantry but we have always stuck together, because they are family. Sending you big hugs, OP.
