Your mom is a bitch, so its ok to sell her instead of the dog. Good riddance of bad rubbish. No dog ever costs that much to realistically cover bills. Nor the maintenance is so high as some try to tell us. What they have is unsurpassed emotional value. I have 3 dogs, I know.

Hey, OP here. My mother does not live with me. She agreed to watch my dog for me while I was out of town. She decided since my dog is a purebreed that she was going to sell it to pay a bill. My mom is not impoverished and if she had asked, I would have gladly given her the money. She does not own Happy, nor has she ever contributed to the cost of the dog. I pay her to dog sit, though that won't be happening ever again. I found the people she sold the dog to and the police are now involved, so Happy will be returned to me.

im sorry OP my mom gave mine away then said oh he was mean to my dog. which her dog is mean and bites people and mine was old :(
