Today, my mother surprised me with a new alarm clock. It's attached to a toy car which races around my room with obnoxious sirens going at full blast until I crawl out of bed and turn it off. She says this will be a regular thing. FML

Ugh! I would wake up so grouchy if that was my alarm. Thank God, my alarm is a CD player, so I wake up to my favorite songs and it gets me in the best if moods!(:

I had an alarm clock when I was a wee one, and its eyes opened when it was time to get up. didn't use it much, as I was up before it went off.

Why not try it on your mum, when she freaks. Tell her, see. I feel the same way when you did that to me. But remember, she does it coz she cares and coz, she wants you to wake up.

Your mom is awesome. Mine used to open our bedroom doors and released our dogs to jump on our beds until we woke up:)
