Wonderful. You can bum off your parents the rest of your life and they cant complain.
lol good point, theyd have no one to blame but themselves
It would be even funnier if she bummed off her parents while secretly earning an online degree. And after she earns the degree she goes and gets a better job than her sisters, meanwhile still living at home, pretending that she has no life because her mother tried to undermine all chances of success in her life.
BRILLIANT!
Not brilliant because most of the time, online degrees aren't worth shit, since almost any employer would rather hire with a degree from a real college.
Online courses at a local college work though. And if you have to go to campus for one or two classes, fine as long as your parents dont catch you. Besides, a lot of employers arent going to recognize your specific college's name. That are a shit-ton of colleges. For the most part, unless tey KNOW the school adn KNOW its an online college, they don't really care. As my uncle put it "There's Ivy League schools. And there's everything else. Unless they're looking for somone who graduated Harvard, they dont care where your degree is from."
Maybe not brilliant, but an online degree would be easier to conceal from her parents than trying to take classes that you have to attend in person. My real suggest to the OP would be to keep going to college anyways. If your mother stops paying for it, find financial support, scholarships, all that money that out there that's waiting to be claimed.
that sucks so much. u have every right to succeed and be proud of it :) good luck in ur studies and dont let her get to u!
Sounds like it's time for you to finish school, graduate with honors, and when she wants help, tell her no.
YDI for being a girl
Keep going. And get ready call the cops. If there's college money missing and you're suspended AND SHE is paying for your school, then you know the reason. Beleive me, if that whacko you call "mom" is nuts enough for telling YOU, HER DAUGHTER to quit college, I beleive she is nuts enough to also stop paying your college money.
FYL, unless you're one of those people who acts like your college degree makes you better than they are. If that's the case, then YDI.
Here's your motivation to graduate, get a successful job and prove your mom she's a bitch.

Don't listen to her... You are your own person. Is she going to pay all your bills & expenses?
Don't quit. It's your life.
