I'm sure your mother has friends on there that would like to know how she is healing and stuff, and if any of your friends give you crap about it just tell them to grow up. Your mother had surgery and I'm sure people are concerned about her and I'm sure she didn't tag you just to embarrass you.

She didn't have to specify what kind of operation it was, real friends would know. Those who don't can be told in a private message. It was definitely a tmi from OPs mom side. Parents and Facebook too often end up in some corny situation.
