Today, my parents took me on a plane ride for a vacation in Hong Kong. What they didn't tell me was that the "vacation" is extended for three years. FML

You can contact children services, although I doubt they'd be able to do anything for you, unless you told them that you were completely unaware of the fact that it was for such an extended period of time, then it could be classified as kidnapping.

I can sympathize...my parents did something similar, though it was only for one year and the country was Pakistan. Well, enjoy Hong Kong! And if you don't already know Cantonese, it could be an opportunity to learn some, and it's always good to learn a new language. ^^

sry i hadn't noticed that some people actually have three years worth of cloth and bags like Hermiones purse to fit it all in it. I hope you never have to leave for that long cause it's gonna be a hell of a shopping spree. other than that fyl big OP. steel your folks credit cards and take the flight back lol.

in most countries a travel visa will get you in, then you get your permits once you're there.
