Simple solution to your situation. Quit McDonald's, join the military. They'd love to have you as a human shield.
Maybe it's time to move out. It doesn't matter what age you are, if you come home at 1am and wake them up, you deserve to get yelled at. It's their house, their rules. Instead of complaining about it, I would suggest moving out.
@ #80... Seriously? yes, there is a certain amount parents CAN do, but honestly, when one side is not cooperating with them, and not taking their advice, and not finding a job that can pay for rent. I live with 1 other person, rent is 660 a/mo and I'm jobless and still manage to make enough money from tech/graphic jobs to live comfortably during this "recession". We also have the standard Cable, Electric, S/w/t. He "most likely" has no inner drive. I feel no sympathy. FYL hard.
@ #118, well, it depends. Are you under 30? Do you live with your parents? If you answered no to either question, it's fine. McD's has had former big-wig CEO's underneath its corporate family before they moved onto better things. But to be working, living at home and still not having enough money? That's just silly.
Nothing wrong with being with parents at 30, maybe the parents are in a financial issue or something. For the love of pete guys, stop judging.
I'm pretty sure the FML should be: "Today, I realized that I'm 30 and live with my parents. FML" It shouldn't take being yelled at by them, which is pathetic, by the way. It's just.. it's been FYL since you didn't move out to go to college, or when you moved back in after graduating. Wow.

Why are you still living with your parents? You live under their roof, you follow their rules.
Living with your parents at 30? yeah definitely FYL.
