Today, my phone rang while I was home alone. When I picked up, all I could hear was heavy breathing. Convinced it was one of my friends playing a joke, I said loudly, "Get off the phone, you fucker, and don't call back!" It turned out it was my grandma. She had been having a stroke. FML

ok, bad move. but if all you heard was heavy breathing, you'd think it was some creeper or a prank. so, yeah, i understand. hope your grandma is okay.

People are marking it as something he deserved because he couldve checked the caller ID. But if he didnt see it, its totally understandable.

i hate how people are saying they deserved it. it's not like they would have known.

not everyone checks caller ID first, sometimes it's just instinct to pick up the house phone and just talk without checking. hope your grandma is ok, it's not your fault but it's pretty bad =/

poor grandma... be a little nicer next time

You git her! the elderly are a burden on society anyway

Wow don't you have a grandma?? I think you don't even care about her since she's a " burden of society" Douche I hope your grandma sees this and beats your ass until the skin falls off ?????

How did you not realize it was your grandma's phone number? This sounds too good to be true.

wow that was NOT your fault. hope she's okay.

I love how 90% of the phone-related FMLs are the disadvantages of not having caller ID. I never knew how many people STILL don't have caller ID until following FMyLife.

"Get off the phone, you ******, and don't call back!" is how you usually talk to friends?
