That takes some skills! >have dream about class getting cancelled >actually turn off alarm in sleep I'm impressed. Hopefully your professor is, too.
I remember the time when I was sleeping while the TV was on, and I was responding to the questions asked in the show out loud, because I woke myself up answering a question.
I've done that before...or had a dream that I was already in class/awake. Those are the worst dreams because of how much they throw off your day.
I've had dreams that I did a full day at work, and then woke up and realized I still had to go to work even though I felt like I should be going home instead of just getting up. Definitely messes you up for the day!
You were able to relax, though. You're rested for the work you're going to have to make up :D
You got issues man !
Haha gotta hate those dreams
If your professor canceling class is a dream. Wouldn't turning off your alarm also be a dream? Unless you woke up to turn your alarm off.
Some people do things like that in their sleep. Or some semi-conscious sleep state. Like sleep walking
I think he meant that when his alarm went off at its regularly scheduled time, he turned the alarm off and then went back to sleep. upon awakening he rechecked the email to see if there was a reading assignment associated with the cancelled class. /detectivemode
This happened to me once. Exact same scenario, except I woke up on my own seven minutes before class started. Realized it was a dream, panicked, threw on some clothes, and sprinted across campus to class. Made it there just in time.
So wait, your professor cancelled class in a dream, but somehow you managed to turn off your alarm... In real life?
It happens. REM sleep which is the stage where you dream is fairly close to being awake. It's not impossible to wake up for a few seconds then go right back into the dream. I've sent plenty of odd texts that way then have to explain them away after I'm fully awake

At least it was a good dream.
Hopefully you only missed a lecture and not an exam!
