Never ever go for a cheap hotel in Europe. It's just never worth it. Hope your trip gets bigger because Europe is an amazing place to visit!
Your key word here is cheap...I am not surprised...
How much did you pay for the hotel? There are some pretty decent budget hotels you're missing.
You admitted to getting a cheap hotel, so yeah that's your fault.
Be really careful with your luggage. Traveling is one of the most common ways bedbugs spread. Just like with lice, it only takes missing one for a re-infestation to happen. Wash all of your clothes in the hottest water possible and dry them on the hottest setting. Go out and buy a few clothing items and seal your other ones in air right plastic bags. Keeping them sealed for a month will suffocate them. It would probably be best to get a new suitcase since you can't wash and dry in the high temperatures that are necessary to kill them. Make sure you keep suitcase and any clothing up and off the floor. When you get home, thoroughly examine all of your luggage outside before bringing any of it inside your house. Honestly, it would be better to throw away what you can. You want to minimize the chance of an infestation in your house. Bedbugs ate a bitch to get rid of, not to mention expensive.
You don'rt deserve it, but you should've expected it.
Lmao I got a badge for moderating this
how cheap was that hotel? there's budget and there's budget...
hope rest of the trip goes well op

You get what you pay for! Hotels in Europe are definitely more expensive, but the cheap ones are always cheap for a very good reason.
Mouse? Not bad. Bed bugs? The creatures of hell. Don't cheap out next time, OP. Bed bugs are hellacious.
