Agreed with #80. Kidney Stones! I'm only 19 and have had at least 10 attacks in two years. Apparently...kidney stones are worse than birth and this was told to me by doctors in the hospital
Prepare. Stretch yout your pussy with a large ***** or have your hubby fist you. Seriously. It feels good and will prepare you. Becoming anxious about the pain will do the opposite.
Everyone has a different threshold for pain. I had 2 sets of twins & was told that "having a baby was like ******** a watermelon." That scared me to death! I had the 1st set with no drugs & all I kept thinking was, yeah that's a close description! On the 2nd set the epi didn't work, so once again, close description. But it's different for everyone. You'll hear every horror story about labor/delivery during your pregnancy there is, but don't listen to them! Your body is made for childbirth & it prepares itself for it. It's easier going into labor naturally than getting induced. If you're going to listen to anyone, let it be your doctor. And not all the fools who are misinformed or just want to scare you.
This is not always true. I didn't find child birth painful during the event- and I expressed that multiple times throughout my labor, at various stages, and even immediately afterward. There were certainly uncomfortable parts and when my daughter crowned I did feel some pain, but none of it was excruciating. I would compare child birth to running a marathon: it's hard, there is discomfort, but you can get through it and even enjoy some parts. The gall stones I developed nine months after my daughter's birth were painful! I'd rather go through hours of labor again than experience even a few minutes of pain due to gall stones.
Pain is relative. In general, the worst pains you can experience are as follows: 1. breaking your femur bone 2. kidney stones 3. childbirth It all (but especially childbirth) varies from person to person. For you, it may or may not be excruciating, but there is medicine for that. Plus, unlike a broken femur bone or kidney stone (they are unimaginably painful, take it from me), labor is generally shorter AND you get a beautiful baby! Congratulations! but not FYL.

Well, there's no turning back now.
Just take the drugs when they offer them, the epidural may hurt at first but it's so worth it
