Penn State is ranked 47th and is said to be, "more selective" NOT "most selective". Meaning it is not that difficult to get into as other schools are. They accept about half of their students. Which is a lot when compared to the likes of other schools. It also accepts applications on a rolling basis. Meaning that they continue to take in students until the class fills up. Here are the facts. Draw whichever conclusions you see fit. However, to the douche who wanted to run his mouth about how Ivy League students aren't studying economics and how we are full of shit, listen to this. UPenn has the top ranked business program in the country. Look at its ranking on US News. While I don't go to UPenn (I'm stationed in Hanover), I still respect its tradition as a fellow ivy league institution. Not every Ivy League student is an asshole. Your inability to work hard and your half ass attempts at a social life at the price of getting good grades makes you a pathetic loser. You are an adult now you dick. PENN STATE IS AMAZING. UPenn is cool and all if you want to have no life....but don't feel bad that you got into PSU....once you get there, you will know that it is AMAZING.

It's definitely not about the stats. I don't really care about the "stats". And it's not about PSU being better than UPenn. What it's about is that there's really no other school like Penn State. Sorry, but there just isn't. It's not just the football, it's everything. I go to main campus and there's really nothing like it. When I got in, some of my family members made the same mistake and called it UPenn, big deal, I corrected them and moved on. GO TO PENN STATE!!! Penn State is a CULTURE, it's a way of life, and it's about having pride! That's why we say: WE ARE!!!

@177 oh dont get me wrong. college is college, but what bothers me are the people who say penn state is better than upenn on the basis they go to penn state. if u have no experience of the life at upenn than ur not in a position to place penn state ahead of upenn. i at least give the upenn ppl some credit cause they claim to be a better school with stats to back it up. in the end who gives a ****. go to college. go party. **** some bitches. get a degree. make some money. go party some more.
