Today, my vegan step-mom found out I ate at McDonald's yesterday. She gave me hell and asked me how it feels to give money to "murderers". All while my dad sat quietly by because he's too whipped to speak his mind. It wasn't even her house a month ago. FML

That sucks.... stand up for yourself even if your dad won't! I have a step mom who came in and did the same thing almost 20 years ago and to this day, my dad has yet to locate his balls. -_-

To most vegans, that is the best reason. Since she only moved in a month ago, I'm going to assume they've only been married that long. He probably doesn't want to rock the boat just yet, or he didn't know what to say at the time. I'm assuming she was around you before they married and didn't act this way? It's possible he spoke to her about it later when she calmed down, but I'm curious if she's forcing him to become vegan.

Vegan food is actually not that bad, just add ground beef and some cream and that does the trick usually. Are you forced to live with that lunatic or were you just visiting? Either way, you should have a talk with your dad about standing up for you if she's going all PETA psycho on you.

Yeeesh... Here we go. The vegans gave me thumbs down ... knew it! If you believe in living that lifestyle, please do so at your own leisure. Just don't impose your ideas on others. It's just bad manners to do so, jehova's witnesses, Scientology and all the other nut jobs trying to impose their way to every other human being are just dumb ***** that need to get a life.

Yeah, it's not, but it's actually worse/the same for you because it's just as overprocessed, if not more so than if you were eating meat. Plus you're cutting out vitamins that you actually need from eating meat, so enjoy those supplements. IN RESPONSE TO OP: Next time she asks something like that, tell her 'fantastic'. If you don't want to be vegan, don't be. She doesn't get to make that decision for you OP. (Though really #48 has the right idea, this is just if she continues to be a psycho)

If you're going to break the rules, at least go to a steakhouse.

Tell her to stop imposing her ideals on to others. People like that are vegans for attention and nothing more. She cant shame you for following the natural order of the food chain.

Come home and eat a burger right in front of that rude bitch

Go back to McDonalds, get a few more burgers, take it home, and start eating them in her face while showing your dad who really has a pair.

Oh, ffs - militant vegans are the WORST. I remember trying to go vegetarian and having vegans say "Well, you obviously don't love animals if you're ONLY vegetarian..." (For the record - I'm a flexitarian: "someone who eats a plant-based with the occasional inclusion of meat products.")
