We all did stupid stuff in college. That's what college is for (in between those annoying "classes"). I'm not proud of a lot of things I did back then, but all of our experiences make us who we are. That experience, for example, makes your wife a superfreak.

At least she told you. The two of you have been married for four years, and I'm going to assume that you dated for a period of time first, so that's maybe four to six years of relationship, if not more. She could have just taken this to her grave, and the fact that she told you means she wants to break down those last few barriers. Honestly, try to be happy. She trusts you, she wanted you to know, and even though she could have gone her whole life without telling you, she wanted to share that dark part of herself with you. Yes, it was an obvious lapse in judgement on her part, and now she has psychologically fixated on it, but that doesn't make her a horrible person. Talk to her, work with her through this. You're her husband, you obviously love her if you've made this commitment, now you have to be there for her.
