Today, on my way out of the subway station, I noticed an older woman standing at the bottom of a flight of stairs with a large cart. I went up to her and asked if she needed help getting it up the stairs. She looks me up and down and says, "No, not from you." FML

She may have meant it like you were thin/looked frail. I don't think she was personally insulting you. It was still nice of you to offer though!

Who cares what some ******* bag lady thinks. Not a FML, not a YDI, just lame.

#18, no one wants to see an old person get hurt, you cold-hearted bastard. I think old people are just too old to care whether they're insulting. Sucks for you though =D

Subway stations are known for having creepy people around. It's not really a big deal.

I don't understand how anyone said YDI.

"If you see a suspicious package, contact an MTA employee or a police officer. If you see something, say something". You're an idiot. Don't you know the rules of the subway? Besides, anyone carrying such a large cart, from my experience, is usually lacking the mental capacity to hold a conversation and it's usually dangerous when they do. Come on man, give the lady a dollar and keep it moving. You do NOT converse with the hobos. YDI.

maybe she was waiting for a little boyscout to come along and help her. those kids sure are nifty. ;)

Oh dear. So, as a fellow ethnic, I must ask: are you ethnic? If yes, FYL. If no, FYL.

Oh dear :( So, as a fellow ethnic (I am black), I must ask thee: are you ethnic too? If yes, FYL. If no, FYL. Good luck my friend.
