Hello everyone! OP here. Anyways, it was pretty funny after a while how all the guests kept trying to make small talk about the heat while I was visibly sweaty and annoyed (attractive, I know.) Luckily we have a shuttle and I periodically just went out and sat in it for a few minutes with the AC blasting in my face so it helped a little. Also, my boss called in a technician the next day who fixed it. Hopefully it doesn't happen again because it was horrible and having to wear long sleeves, a vest, and a tie as the uniform didn't help! :(

could be a lot worse. try working digging ditches in that temp with the sun beating down on you, while humid as hell, and no breeze. you don't have it all that bad.
Shia Labeouf is that you?
96 degrees is nothing man up
Open the bloody windows next time... Maybe?
I used to work for dominos, 110-120+ was not uncommon in summer. Try that living hell
Where I work there is no a/c. It was 95 or higher yesterday, and the building was probably 110 degrees. I feel your pain.
Temperature is only half the story. At 41, humidity matters more to me, for example, than temperature. I had little trouble hiking in 103 F when 19% humidity, while felt horrible in 82 F and 38%. As a youth, I suffered heat exhaustion in 82 F but ran barefoot in the snow. Everyone's tolerances are different.

Smart! Very smart, I'm using that first chance I get.
I have customers who come in on Friday and say "at least it's Friday!" Or "at least you have the weekend!" Not realizing so many people in retail work weekends...
I hope that's not Celsius!
If that were Celsius, I'm pretty sure OP would be dead and unable to post this to FML.

Customer service summed up
I work customer service as well, and by far the most common question I get is "why are you working on the weekend? It's such nice weather out there!" ... each time, tempted to say "I'm here, because your presence necessitates my presence."
