Why the **** do you still have a blackberry I thought they were extinct
It's a good reason to switch
As long as they still accept the old payment options, you are no worse off than before.
I haven't seen a Blackberry in like a decade. This would make much more sense if you an android or windows phone.
For those talking about "who still has a blackberry?", last year I worked for a company who issued Blackberry's as company phones. I was shocked that they still existed as well, but apparently for a company they are not only cheap, but allow for more security than more mainstream options, which is a major concern when dealing with proprietary information. Plus you cut down on data usage spending due to limited apps! :)
Agreed. The US Government issues blackberries to all senators and theirs employees for security reasons.
Besides the fact that it doesn't make sense to ignore the Android platform in favor of only Apple (pretty sure more androids are in use than iPhones), I don't understand how they thought getting rid of cash or card completely was a good idea. If that is what they did, as the post implies, what happens if someone's phone dies or they leave it at home or drop it and break it at work? No lunch for you today.
It would also make it impossible for anyone who doesn't own a smartphone to buy lunch. That seems crazy!
You are correct. Samsung alone outsold Apple by about 30 million devices during the first quarter this year.
There are still people using Nokia basic bar phones you know...

If you get hungry you could always eat your blackberry. *waits for downvotes*
As a developer, I find this so annoying just because whenever something is launched - multiple platforms are always considered, especially if it's going live instantly. I completely get testing with one platform. But having working system that targets only specific users.. Really careless.
