No, they are not apart of the phrase, and it also doesn't work in the middle of sentences. A way it would work would be in something like: Bob asked Sally, "Why are you such a dumb bitch?" Also, it doesn't go in as 'Brother.', just 'Brother', as the period isn't a part of the phrase. French major and English minor FTW.

She's good. Girls always know if their guy friends are into them - She's taken a very clever pre-emotive strike to avoid an awkward situation where she's forces to reject you.
