Hey it's OP. We stood there for a good 5 seconds until he realized it was actually me. He sincerely apologized and he said he hope it didn't offend me. He's a really nice guy and I'm happy to be dating him! :) We went hiking that morning. And for those saying I wear too much makeup on, I don't. I simply have super light eyebrows and eyelashes, and girls here would understand that doing your eyebrows and putting on black mascara makes a HUGE difference. For my face, I only wear a light coverage tinted moisturizer. You're all so quick to judge. SMH.

That sounds like he's joking.
Why do you guys automatically asume op looked like a clown? What if she just covered up acne or a birthmark.
still no reason to hide it and I think that was sarcasm meaning it was meant as a jome when they said op looked like a clown
joke*
if she just covered up acne or a birthmark it wouldn't make her unrecognizable.
Actually it can. Make up is to enhance features, without the enhancement girls DO look different. Blush makes cheek bones more prominent and gives you a healthy blush(obviously), eyeliner makes your eyes look larger/more noticeable, and mascara makes your eyelashes darker, longer, fuller. Even some makeup changes your look, though that's not bad either. It's just bringing out natural features. A woman should be allowed to wear makeup if she wants but it still does make you look different.
Well at least if he really did think you were someone else, he didn't try to flirt with this other person while there to see you...
That's probably because she looked unattractive.
damn wtf why do you wear so much make up , thats what happens when girls are so insecure and become more conceded with make up on
that's* Conceited* That actually makes very little sense. Make up exists to change how you look. Could be a lot, could be s little. It doesn't matter how much make up other people wear anyhow, as long as they like how they look and feel confident, they ought not be judged.
I think you wear a little too much makeup if you are totally unrecognizable without it.
You're no longer anonymous and we have the same name but I'm sure you are gorgeous with or without make up.
@ all you hoes saying that OP must be wearing enough makeup to smother a clown: 1. it was 7 AM. the boyfriend might've been tired and not in the frame of mind to notice small changes. y'know, the sort of minor changes that makeup exists to create 2. they've been dating three weeks, which means he *might* not have every detail of her face memorized 3. it's likely the first time he's seen her without makeup. chill 4. this is a small misunderstanding and it doesn't *have* to be anyone's fault. are y'all not tired of policing women's everyday decisions all the time or
You sure he is not mental?

Sounds like somebody uses WAY too much makeup, YDI
It's good for him that it was 3 weeks not months.
