Today, the kids I teach informed me that I had spelled my name incorrectly on the board. I looked at it and assured them that I had spelled it correctly. I'm 22 and a graduate student, they're six and mentally challenged. Guess who was right? FML

Today, I got back the essay I wrote about how my country's education system is fucked. At one point, I made a spelling mistake. My teacher wrote a note about it, basically calling me illiterate, and telling me to pay attention in school instead of whining about it. She misspelled "school". FML

Its really not that bad in comparison to some of the other things you'll eventually end up doing that will be embarrassing, everyone messes up. Also... have you guys noticed that phsyical ed. teachers really don't seem to be in nearly as nice to talk to as other educators? Just speaking from my experiences

being a graduate student has nothing to do with whether you spell your name wrong or not. from the age of like 3 we know how to write our own name, and mentally challenged kids do as well. there was really no need to say that they are challenged, but it just makes it funnier! way to not know how to spell your name.
