Today, I went out to eat at a restaurant. When the waitress saw me, she continously told me how beautiful and kind I was. Flattered, I just said thank you. Five minutes later, one of the ugliest girls I've ever seen in my life walked in. The waitress told her the same exact things she told me. FML

Today, I was walking to the shops when I saw my friend about 10 metres in front of me, waiting at the traffic lights, by herself. Jokingly, I shouted out "Who's that really ugly person waiting at the lights?" The girl turned around. It wasn't my friend. FML

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. OP didn't SAY she was ugly to her face, right? It wasn't karma! Many of these commenters are calling OP ugly without even SEEING him before; stop being judgemental when you're just as bad. You might say that he's ugly because he judged the girl, but the girl judged him, too! This has FYL written all over it. Are you trying to say that every single one of you finds everyone in the universe attractive? That girl sounded like a bitch. At least OP didn't comment on her lack of attractiveness, thus giving him more of a heart than her.

perhaps the world does not in fact revolve around you and the comment had nothing to do with you at all. or perhaps beauty is in the eye of the beholder and you emit such an ugliness to her by judging others on their outward appearances. but we will never know and you ger to live with that unknown.
