Today, there was a big cake at the office. I thought it was funny to pretend to push the cute girl in the office into it. She laughed, but then lost her balance and fell forward. Everyone saw. Turns out she’s allergic to coconut, even just the shavings on a cake, and had to go to the hospital. FML

Well, if she laughed I assume she knew it was a joke... I mean, I assume by 'pretended to push' you mean like, 'lightly nudged' or something. I assume she thought she caught her balance, then laughed, realized she hadn't entirely steadied herself, then fell. And you didn't know she was allergic to the coconuts so if you had you wouldn't have done it in the first place. It really could go either way though... depending on if you feel guilty or not.

You just suck at life for this one... He pushed her into the coconut cake. Her coming into contact with the coconut flakes caused the allergic reaction. SHE DIDN'T ACTUALLY EAT IT! And who cares about your "work" industry... My mother's place of work has office parties all the time. With cake and food trays and such. Just because your office is lame doesn't mean everyone else's is....
