Today, three of my dipshit coworkers kept whining all day about Zayn Malik leaving One Direction, how devastating it is, and what it means for their future. As a pacifist, I've never had to struggle so hard to not beat the piss out of people and hurl their broken remains out a window. FML

Zayn* but honestly I love one direction. It's been almost 5 years I don't even know why but it actually is extremely upsetting.

You're allowed to like whatever band you want. It's the hours-long whining about it the OP couldn't stand. Really. It's a workplace and you're expected to work.

At least they don't support the cutting cause he's leaving crap. I was upset Danny left asking Alexandria and I moaned for a couple days. It's a natural thing if a band has any sort of emotional attachment to you

Your co-workers are worried about something irrelevant as that?? How old are they?!

Christ, I understand that it was "all day," but really. To you it's just a band, but for them it's their favorite band. Wouldn't you act the same way if one of the members of your favorite band left? Honestly, op, grow up and love yourself.

really sad that most idiotic fans have to get attention by cutting. while some people with mental problems does that privately. because of the idiots the ones who actually do it to suice get called attention ******

I understand that people are upset, but like why do you have to show your grief at work? Like if this was in a social setting I would just tell OP to do something else, but it's work? It honestly depends on the job they're doing, but most of the time you have to be professional. If you want to lament, do it in the break room or meet for drinks or at a Starbucks or somewhere else that doesn't interfere with work. And before anybody tries to throw the "what if it was your favorite band," of course I'd be sad, but I wouldn't be moaning and complaining at work I'd do it on my own time.
