To be fair, I was once in this situation. Dumped the chick... She came crawling back... I gave her a last hoo-rah by getting her naked and throwing her clothes out the window. I took her home and laid on the horn as she ran in the house... Good Times. Now Dubbed "The Run of Shame". Sucks for OP. Things will work out. Your "friend" will be there for the long haul. Especially when you meet the real lady that you are meant to be with. At that time, I hope "sleeping with her" is not an option.

Totally true. That is what happens when you reverse friend-zone a girl who has an equal-opportunity ****** in a committed relationship. I thought it was the grown-up thing to do. Shame works both ways... Mine was a bit extreme but so was the cause and how I found out about it. I ended up meeting my wife out of the whole deal. Who is not the streaking chick as previously mentioned. You've got to stand up sometime and when someone is crawling back is as good a time as any.

That's some harsh truth - Probably a bit harsher than necessary but, at the core of it, your friend gave you a head's up on what he was going to attempt to do. He didn't sneak around or have any other ulterior motives (you'd hope). Yeah, sucky way to find out that the one you're with is unfaithful but better to find out now, in the most honest and direct way (from a friend), then to become truly invested in the relationship and have it blow up in your face, down the road.

From the way I read it, I don't think OP was given the heads up. I think it was OP's friend saying, "You're gf's a total *****" and went ahead to prove it. I agree, I hope he didn't have ulterior motives, but it depends on how far the friend went with her. Depending on how far they went depends on if it was a good thing to hear from a friend or not.
