Today, trying to be nice, I asked my little sister how school was. She burst into a temper tantrum and screamed at me to fuck off. She's eight. FML

Kids are so sweet now a days. They're just the darnedest things. Such cuties.

Red flag right there. Maybe things aren't okay for her at school. Kids can be cruel.

If she's usually like this, kids that have their "teenage crisis" before they reach puberty usually are very calm during their teens. I hope she will get better soon. As mentioned before, kids can be very hurtful between each other.. Vicious like two girls dirt-fighting.

She's probably being bullied. This is a warning sign you should recognize and possibly talk with her.

This might be an indication that things aren't alright... If I were you I'd dig into the situation to make sure my sister's doing alright and not being bullied or something.

I like how everyone is just assuming the kid is a little brat. If she's acting like that there's a reason, whether it be poor parenting or bullying. I know from first hand experience when I was being bullied really bad I lashed out at anyone who asked about school because it made me think about it when I was trying to escape what happened. It's a bad sign, one way or another.

Well Guess what she learned at school today. And down vote me all you want, but there comes a time when a child says a cuss word. My first word was when I was 11. Everybody has those times. No it's not right, but it was only a matter of time.

Wrong. I've never, ever said anything like this, and I'm being completely honest too. I've never uttered hard profanity, and have only slipped on soft cuss words four times in my life. Yes, I've counted.

So, you've never said anything bad in your head, because it's also just as bad as saying something aloud.

I read them, so yes I say them in my head. However, I never use them for myself, even if there is an occurrence which would usually necessitate profanity.

bear with me her, but what is a bad word anyway? what makes something a bad word? because we as human say so? dont get me wrong, i respect your ability of self-control, but bad words aren't some sinful taboo. its all in the context. others use it as a surprised/scared/shocked reflect or even humor, and others actually use them to hurt others. just depends.
