I'm sure she's just nervous and clearly has very little idea about sex... sounds like her parents told her it was a scary bad thing and left it at that.

I agree with #23, work your way up to intercourse! try getting intimate with each other without going all the way, and once she's comfortable enough then I'm sure it will be great :] don't pressure her though! it may make things worse. I hope you work it all out!

Yeah, I'm sorry... But actually seeing a bunch of comments on getting annulled is actually disgusting. You marry someone because you love them, not because of sex... Well, you're suppose to anyway. It's not like you guys are never going to have sex. It does sound like she was sexually assaulted, and even if she wasn't she's obviously self conscious or afraid. Be patient and open and respect her. And I'm kind of annoyed that you call this an "FML," and I bet you're going to feel like a dick if you find out she was sexually assaulted.

This isnt a big deal. Seriously. Now personaly I'm not one to wait before I wed, shoot I had two kids with the love of my life before I made an honest woman out of her. Wait till she is ready, and thats after you two can be commfortable nude around eachother. Start showering together etc. There is no shame in being natural. I have some friends that waited three days after they married before they finaly did the deed, and now years later they keep getting their freek on with no issues.

YDI. Try it before you buy it. Nothing romantic about sexual incompatibility or dysfunction. #164: It's an FML even if it's not her fault because it still hurts him. And while you don't get married *for* sex, sex is part of the package, not just a *perk*. (A perk is the tax benefits #149.) Don't kid yourself about it being an afterthought like kids or your 401k. #159: Your worldview is what ***** women up. #38: yep.
