Today, was my wedding night. We had decided to wait until marriage to have sex. When I undressed and smiled at my new wife, she burst into tears and cried, "please don't make me do this." FML

I'm sorry to hear that. Please be patient with her, hopefully she'll come around soon!

I'm sure she's just nervous and clearly has very little idea about sex... sounds like her parents told her it was a scary bad thing and left it at that.

I have a horrible feeling that my honeymoon will be just like this... for some reason I dont think I'll be having sex before marriage either and I've never been sexually abused, but sex is terrifying! I hope you two can find a way to work things out and she can be comfortable with you and you two can grow to have a wonderful marriage.

aw. I think this is something I would do on my wedding night; I'm terrified of having sex for the first time. lol.

People who wait until marriage are gamblers on a level that I cannot even begin to fathom. Kudos to you for being able to go through with it though. Sounds like the issue here is communication, communication, communication. If you don't have that, you probably had no business getting married.

And thus we see why waiting until marriage is stupid. Sex is such an important part of a marriage, it's simply lunacy to wait until after you're married to discover if you and your new partner for life are sexually compatible. And if religious conviction is the reason for this then YDI for being an adult who believes in fairytales.

@#273 - I think the evidence would suggest that he did, in fact, do the wrong thing.

some people here are so inconsiderate. everyone is different; take it slow and it will happen eventually! good luck.

Me, I'm just glad for some artistic inspiration out of this... Thanks for that!
