Their are tons of reasons NOT to have sex before marriage even besides religious, such as AIDS, HIV, and other STDs, besides the fact that when you wait until marriage it will be so much sweeter than if you get it right away. I agree with 316. Sex isn't everything as long as there is love. Besisdes if this is her first time it is natural to be scared. Just don't force it and don't take it personally. Just talk to her about it, and I'm sure she'll come around.

Just wanted to reiterate what others have said about being patient. Maybe this has already been resolved by now, since it takes a few days to get through moderation, but if not, kudos for sticking it out. If you didn't have sex before marriage and dated for a long time, what's a few more weeks? It's completely normal to be scared, especially coming from a conservative background that is often tainted with misinformation about sex. From her fear, it seems like you might have been leaping straight from chaste kissing and such to sex. Try working her up to it gradually with other things, and make sure she knows you love her and aren't pressuring her. It'll work out in time. Good luck.
