Today, while at my boyfriend's cousin's birthday party, I was hanging around with his sister as I didn't know anyone. She was talking to some friends when one of them asked her, "So, is your brother still going out with that crazy chick?" Her answer was to introduce me. FML

That's what I'm wondering. If she didn't know anyone there, and her boyfriend wasn't there, why was she? If people are asking the sister about the "crazy" girl, it sounds like she probably participated in this kind of discussion before and doesn't like OP either. Maybe it's a hint.

Isn't it possible that the OP's boyfriend either hadn't arrived yet, or was talking to someone else at the time, etc.? It's also possible that the OP was trying to get more comfortable with his family without her bf around...

Thanks, ikick, I am flattered by the sentiment, but that's why my previous incarnation had to disappear leaving a few thousand comments of his own. He got in trouble mostly because private messaging hadn't yet been added to FML.
