Hmmm. I'm imagining that the only thing you could have done there was just to smile and go along with it. If you'd said "Hang on, I'm not crazy!" that wouldn't really have helped your cause there.
Yeah, would have done the same thing!
take it as a compliment!
where was your boyfriend?!
That's what I'm wondering. If she didn't know anyone there, and her boyfriend wasn't there, why was she? If people are asking the sister about the "crazy" girl, it sounds like she probably participated in this kind of discussion before and doesn't like OP either. Maybe it's a hint.
Isn't it possible that the OP's boyfriend either hadn't arrived yet, or was talking to someone else at the time, etc.? It's also possible that the OP was trying to get more comfortable with his family without her bf around...
Awkward silence.
Wake me up when the punchline is, "Is your brother still going out with the chick that used to be a dude?" "Crazy" just makes me hit the snooze and go back to sleep.
Be nice to them. You can change their views on you entirely by killing them with kindness.
At least he talks about you to his family...
Reminds me of my brother's ex....
Wow annababyyy your so gorgeous!!!!!!!!

Respond by acting with grace. Taking the high ground works every time.
that would be your cue to start acting like a crazy chick.
