Today, while at my boyfriend's house waiting for him to shower, his mother slams a pair of underwear on the table and tells me that if she ever finds something like that in her son's room again, she is forbidding him from seeing me. The underwear isn't mine. FML

That's just shitty parenting, talk to your damn son, not his girlfriend.

Perhaps it is really a pair of his mom's underwear and she really really doesn't like you

You should have looked at her and calmly said "Those aren't mine", and then walked out. Let him deal with it.

Wow, it suck that your boyfriend is cheating on you. You should confront him and show him the underwear. Maybe it was just a 1 night stand thing or you're not putting out? Either way, there seems to be a communication barrier between you and your boyfriend. Talk to him about it. And just 1 more thing... I don't get why parents are so against their kids having sex or make it sound so conservative and as if they're not allowed to do it. It's a natural part of life and if they're practicing safe sex then what is the problem? I'm not saying you should go fcuk every person you see on the street but if it's with a boyfriend/girlfriend then what's the problem? You should have told the mom that just because she isn't getting any she shouldn't take it out on you.

Teen pregnancy is higher under "abstinence education" than it is under "safe sex education".

Very true. My state has two hundred and something counties and mine has the highest teen pregnancy rate. Guess what? They don't teach us about any type of contraception.

Then why aren't your parents teaching contraception to you? If parents were more open about sex to their children, there wouldn't be as many problems. Okay, I understand that teen preganancy is a problem but most of the time the teenager isn't the only person to blame, there has to be other smaller events that led up to their actions and parents are usually quick to rid themselves of the blame. They shouldn't be though, just talk to your parents about it. Why was the mom in this FML telling the girlfriend about the panties instead of telling her son if she was really that concerned for him?

I hate overbearing parents. A lot. Tell his mom to **** herself and deal with your boyfriend privately.

Mom's not a physcho or anything.. *cough* You should've told her it wasn't yours though ahhha.
