Today, while driving home from work, I noticed the driver next to me was happily chatting on her phone. I fucking despise these would-be murderers, so I slammed my horn to signal my disgust. She panicked and swerved straight into my car. FML

it maybe but guess what its illegal everywhere to use ur horn in a non emergency. whos the stupid one now? all it does is distract anyone who hears it. he could have caused more than just the accident he was in by doing it.

Once more, no, it's not illegal in the UK to use your horn to warn drivers that what they are doing is dangerous. Secondly, why should him honking his horn at her cause the accident? If someone beeping near you causes you to run off the road, you're going to do so every hundred meters!

It is illegal in the UK. You only use your horn to stop someone causing an immediate accident and to alert someone of an oncoming danger. What OP did was illegal. Hopefully they'll both learn from it!

Some people can actually do two things at the same time, but even though that you can't, there is no need to be so jealous. ... And the driver who hit OP clearly couldn't do two things at the same time. What if someone had honked their horn for any other reason? At another car? She still would've plowed into a car because she was not paying attention to the road.
